Cramped Schedule

| | Comments (0)

I don't have many resting hours as of late, with all the little things I have to do. Slowly there is more and more to do, and I can't get organized.

Today, I'll take a nap, and organize things. Make everything click together again.

With people quitting and things restructuring at work, I have a full time schedule, that doesn't allow me to study all that much.

My work said they would cut down on my hours once they get the two newhires settled in. I'm hoping that's VERY VERY soon.

So, MONDAY. There s weekend cushion, but still, it's very very close. School time is permeating through my skin.

I know that in 2 days, I will have to wake up at unglodly hours, to listen to a lecture on how many intense math calcations there are.

I still have to figure out what to do about food, since I don't want to spend money at school. I saw this cute little cooler bag @ Target's website. I think I'll buy it, so I can carry the food with me, or put it on my locker until I'm hungry.

Then, there's the whole fact I still have to work most days, and that is very much bleah.

I'm still trying to figure out if I want to take MARTA, or if I want to just drive downtown. I do like the fact that with MARTA there's less driving, and less traffic. Also, less gas consumption, and less hassles.

But driving is just fast, since I have a much too early for my taste class.

Well, I'll get all things settled by Monday hopefully, and will have a happy, healthy semester.

I swear, I think no evil

Well, it happens that certail lil manager @ work, is starting to act a bit childish. He's being vindictive, and also voices his dislikes for certain individuals, and makes their life in work hell, a touch more Hellish.

I wouldn't do anything against anyone, but this manager is just asking for a letter or two making some comments about him to reach some higher up people in the company. Not that I would actually do anything like that, because it wouldn't be nice.

Ohh, hold on, he's not being nice. Yeah, that takes that little block away, and just adds on to the fire to get someone disciplined.

Today, he said he mentioned a certain employee was irritating him, and wanted him out of the building. This was around closing time. Me, I said my ride wasn't there yet, and said manager just said that said person that was irritating him would drive me. First, that's just bad manners, and second, how can he assume such thing. If I was outside the building by myself (which is against company rules to leave a employee outside by himself) and got beaten up and killed, he would be the one to bear all the blame.

Also, he abuses his power, and raises his voice, and makes threaths out in the public, in front of other employees and customers. VERY umprofessional, and indeed not what a manager should do. His personal vendettas, and general disliking of some people cause conflicts. Even if a managers hates one of his employees, he must not lay it down on the employee, but should act like a Manager, and deal with his own issues.

Gabe should just be fired.

One more Time for Mom

So, mom passed her licensing test. That means she is can now sell houses. She passed with an eighty eight and she is very happy about it.

She's already been shopping for a broker, and as soon as she finds one, she'll get the backlog of clients that are interested set.

That means I can lessen hours at work soon, because things just keep going downhill.

It wasn't really a bad day

Well, let's see, what are the happenings du jour...

I got to bitch a bit more about me going to Retail full on, even though it was coming. It always comes. It's the curse of my position I guess.

After 2 and a 3/4 years, and it to come. I've been though 3 teams, and now it's my turn to turn over. Granted, I'm still avaliable to do anything in my original position.

Bleah, it sucks, and now I'm under the full thumb of retail, which means I have to abide to their rules. Also, abide to my evil retail sales manager, who is not all that evil, but just a bit strong headed.

Also, there's the whole annoying fact that I can like a new hire at work. My choice of who I like, in any particular manner is mine. Granted, I should know better, since the job rumor mill is a well oiled machine.

Well, I have no intentions of acting on it, and that's because I see no reason for it. The person just seems kewl and friendly, and that's it. There is nothing beyond wanting to be friends attached to anything. It's like when someone meets someone who they think would be nice to hang out with.

Well, and there was the whole also annoying fact that my webhost got hacked into, and my webpage got substituted for a little bit.

Anywho, there were other annoying things, but nothing bad. It wasn't a bad day, just an annoying day.

Oki, must go now.

So, my position has gotten changed at work. I had a feeling it was coming, and it's here. I found out because all of a sudden, I'm on the schedule. The Front End schedule. No longer I am on the corporate schedule. It's going to be a very interesting semester.

I didn't really have much of a say about it. I was just traded off.

The initial cue was, two weeks ago. It was said "Marcio, We get to keep you for more two weeks, then you'll help out in frond end."

Of course by "help out" he meant that I was going to be a full member of Front End.

Well, it's going to be interesting to see what happens. I've been cross trained a little bit, but still will need more training.

Frantz crossed over, and he said it wasn't bad, so I guess things will be ok.

Still, it takes me away from my secure place where I've been a long time.

Well, I will just see how it flows. Besides, it's good experience.

Ohh, and a good thing, no more Saturday doubles. *grins*

Poor Little Car

| | Comments (0)

My poor little car is overheating. It started doing it to a bad bad point 2 days ago, and I decided not to drive it to work. I'm trying to figure out that the heck is wrong with it.

It might be the thermostat, the water pump, or a fuse/switch that's burnt out.

All but the water pump should be easy enough (and by that, I mean hard, but not rocket science.)

I want my car to be a happy little Mazda again. Zoom Zoom Zooming me to work, and soon to school.

*hugs his car*

Breaky Time

So, I get the day off tomorrow. That's interesting. I lost track of days as of late, and also of mathematical things.

I got plenty of fun fun overtime hours.

Fun thing is that my tuition stuff re-appeared on my file. I called the school, and they said that everything is fine, and all my fees would be paid off by Friday. Also, at that time, I get sent money that was left over.

I will reserve some of it to buy books, but there should not be that many, since I can use one or two books from last semester, and some others a friend of mine is giving me his.

Also, there are kewl (and by that, I mean cute) new hires at work. I'm going to behave, and be nice and friendly (and by that, I mean friendly.)

Besides that, there's more good stuff, but not enough drive to type them down.

Yeah, for she passed!

Ok, so mom finally passed the real estate test. She still has to take the state test, but that's easy.

I'm so happy, we found out a few hours after the test, on the test giver's website.

Mom was just crying with joy, and extremelly happy overall. As soon as she gets all the paperwork to get her license, she can start selling houses.

That's nice, because it's a in-flow of money, that's badly needed in this family.

So, happy happy joy joy.

The heat is on again

Well, actually they turned the gas back on this afternoon. That means that tomorrow morning I can shave, so yeay. I would have shaved otherwise, but that takes time, that I didn't feel like using in the morning.

Yeay for hot water. It's kewl that the gas guy turned on both pilot lights instead of only one. Yes, they can only turn one on according to Georgia Power, but this guy was nice. Mind one, that I wasn't home at the time, but still.

Again, Yeay.

End of Crazy 2 weeks

Ahh, so tax free is gone, and all my area is done.

I got about 26 hours of overtime for the period, and while I'm happy about it, I'm also tired.

There's plenty to blog, but bleah, my brain is dead.

I'm just happy that the Retail Side, and Corporate Side are not butting heads.

Also, the apple rep died, that was like 5 days ago. The ops manager and ICC were laid off, that was like 3 days ago. People got all on each other faces, and I got ordered by 2 sides to do opposing things, and got screamed for it. I also gotten an empty threat on being fired from Gabe. He just keeps being an ass at times.

I did some transfers, and went to install Memory on an apply. All fun, this was a bit of the week.
