Ahh, fun fun I had.
Yesterday, John (along with Suraj) decided to invite some people to slackline with him.
(For short explanation, we tied a nylon thingie between two trees and tried to get up on it, and balance)
It was a very interesting, and fun experience. John was the only one that could walk on it, since he has been doing it for some time now. Suraj, Ed, and I managed to get on a few times, and balanced to a point.
It was difficult getting on, and since it was not a tight rope, it started swaying from the moment one stepped on it. It was a good exercise in balance.
Well, we did plenty of that, until it started getting dark, and then we went into Suraj (and John's) apt.
We played Halo 2 a few times, and it was tons of amusement. I was just a tad rusty, since I haven't played anything halo-like in a while now. Good thing that the teams were one newbie, and one expert. It evened things out. I managed to assist a lot, but the whole killing thing, that was rather tricky *grins*
They just had purchased a new map pack, so it was a new experience to everyone, that proved a formidable challenge.
When we got done with Halo 2, it was time for a classic to come out... Super Smash Brothers Melee!!
Ahh, that great game from some time ago, back and still rocking. Kirby is my fave, and I did manage to kick a bit of arse. Hey, something I am good at for a change. Ed, was amazingly confused by the fact that there were random items popping in from everywhere.
Overall, it was a fun and entertaining evening. I haven't had one of those in a long while, and much less with friends.
