On the loop

| | Comments (0) | TrackBacks (0)

I'm on the loop again.

A lot of things around me are different, and the sematics are changing, things I expected are not happening. The horizon seems a bit foggy, and the haze slowly seeps into everyday life.

So far things are still in control, and I haven't spun out, but I'm slowly getting there.

While, I can't seem to accomplish all that much at the moment, my head is still clear, and I know how I need to proceed.

I'm just hoping I get there without further slipping.

A Halloween Party

Yesterday was the GSU Alliance's Haloween Party. It was hosted by officer Bryant Courtney.

I dressed up as a, shall we say, young magic practioner. Yeah, that would describe it. I designed my costume last minute, but it was fun. I liked it.

Overall, the party was fun, and entertaining, I met more people than I think I have ever met before, it was pretty cool.

There were many interesting outfits, and I am hoping people will start posting pictures soon. I didn't have a camera on me, so I didn't get a chance to snag anything.

After the party I ended up heading over for coffee with someone I was talking to at the party. We ended up going to Intermezzo. I had a nice hot chocolate, and it was pretty good. We chatted until it got late, and I headed home, overall, it was all fun.

Sister Funnies

So, my darling sister was talking about a friend of hers. My sister has a bluetooth phone, and according to my sister, she was getting a headless set from this friend.

Then she was telling a story that involved roses. The story was in Las Vegas. So, roses are expensive and all. We talked about the fact that long stemmed roses were very expensive. So, she highlighted with the fact that Vegas steamed roses would be even more expensive. Hehehehehe, just the way it was said, it was funny.

Ohh, and an add on. I was talking to sis, and she was mentioning she has life insurance thru her job. She said if she dies, she will get $75,000 dollars. What she would do with the money, well, that's just about damn impossible to answer.

Ahh, so, thanks to Sarah, I got some fresh news today.

ipod_G5_both.jpg

The new iPod G5. As expected, it now plays video. It will come in 30Gb and 60Gb. It will have 20 hours of battery (60GB model only), and it will also be thinner than the current 20G iPods. Hey, and you can see, it comes in black.

Ohh, and we can't forget the guilt little pleasures factor. Thanks to a deal with ABC, you have have the latest episode of Desperate Housewives playing right from your pocket. Ohh, yes, ohh yes *grins*. Other shows like Lost will also be avaliable.

Also, shortly after their Itunes 5 release, they are doing it again, with Itunes 6. The main reason is so it can utilize the full video abilities of the new Ipod. Videos will be avaliable.

This announcement just calls for me to start my Christmas shopping list.

Drop Time Pronto

I have, within the past few weeks, utilized my time somewhat more effectivelly. It has better uses, but not all the right uses. I need to spend a little extra time taking focus @ school.

Physics II is 100% kicking my ass. The reason of course is that I don't devote my entire lifeblood to it. As my professor was saying, I need to devote 5 hours to each chapter. Truth is I barelly devote 30 minutes to each chapter. The only time I look at it is when I have to do the homework, and by then, It's too late to learn anything, and try to actually apply it correctly. It's of a hunt and peck for formulas.

That, brings me to the decision that I need to drop my hours at work. I'm waiting until the 27th of this month, because that is when I get my 2 weeks of vacation back. With that, i will be able to pad my remaining hours, and will not suffer that much from dropping my hours. Still, it sucks sooooo very much.

I was thinking of exiting work, all together, but I will have to see about that.

*Grins*

So, I was at Georgia Tech, and they had their "Big Gay Out" annual party. Part of the GTCOW (Georgia Tech Coming Out Week)

It was fun, and interesting. I met a lot of new people, and enjoyed myself.

It was a pijama themered part. So, I of course, had on my Family Guy Brian pants, that were given to me by me darling sister. They were plenty confy, so it was the perfect fit.

I dance a decent amount, and chatted a bit. Something interesting, was meeting people that I've read about on the internet. They were Kennesaw people, and since I have know I few blogs from that area, I ended up reading all about it. Nice people, friendly, so it was good to meet them.

Again, I was a tad bit shy, but did manage to go around, and not be completelly outside, which was good. I'm still working on my social skills, and everything helps.

I will be there next year, that's for sure.

Up the Percentage

Okay, here comes the new spin on resolutions. Fresh, and hip, being created no more than 20 or so minutes ago.

It brings things together once more, for a resolutionary party of resolutional proportions.

Let's get this started.

Now, we are entering the are of "Up the Percentage"

It's an enchancement. Sprinkling some effectiveness, and commitment powder in my already set goals.

It's simply taking what I already do, and commit myself to those things even more.

Truthfully speaking, it's just a way to get myself to get more into the plans I have already set in motion.

As with virtually all my plans, it starts now, at this moment, as we speak.

Ohh, and this one was triggered by me setting some time aside to do things like my physics homework, and then just waving my hand, and letting it go. Which, is of course bad, since I ended up doing my homework today( when it's due), and did not have time to finish up all the questions. I know, tsk tsk.

Noisy Resolutions

Clicking, and Snapping, and so on. All those noise resolutions. Working their way in, and becoming habit.

Yet, while they slowly gather into my subconcious, which is great, I still manage to have a mild aversion.

Things happen, and then it's a hickup of bad things happening. The good thing, is that it's only a hickup. Things get back to the new new eventually. It's nice to be slowly accomplishing more things, but the hickups just don't bode that well.

Physics, as typical is just hurting me. I can't seem to pay a healthy amount of attention towards that class.

Watch out for a non-roisy resolution coming very very very soon.
