Resolutionarian

As the year ends, people scramble to fix all their flaws and failures accomulated through the past year (and on.)

Well, I'm one of those people, but I analyze and plan all the time, granted, the end of the year is a wonderful reason to do so with vigor.

Tomorrow starts the last day of the year, and we all prepare to count down those finite 10 seconds, and something drops. I really don't get the obsession of things dropping on new years, I believe they should be rising, as a sign of renewal.

Be that as it may, the TV will probably be on watching the Peach Drop. Yes they also usually show the big new york ball thingie dropping, Picture-in-picture. But we are in Georgia, so the peach is queen.

My resolution, is try to do all the things that I wish for. See, that's easy, and I can't possibly dissapoint myself with it. Besides, I'll be happy about every new thing I do, and that's joy all in itself. I've created a every updated list of goals, with checkboxes and status updates, and that should make things a piece of cake. Besides, every time I find something new I want to do, I can just type it in "BLAM!!" it's in the list.

Well, anywho, I post a wish to all the people for a happy New Year Resolutions, and that they all come true in wonderful manners.

Yeay, so, christmas and all that. People over, happy, and joy, and christmas tree and yeay!!!

Ok, well, now, really. It was nice having everyone by, and celebrating this holiday. Now let's skip the part where I say what my gifts were for now.

A white european like shirt, a black shirt, white pullover and pants to match, a zelda pijama bottom, two t-fal non-stick frying pans, new spatula, Sear's Gift Card, and a holiday bag of chocolate.

Yeay, it was very nice. I didn't expect as many things as I got, since we didn't originally plan to swap gifts in the first place. We had planned to do gifts in january, but ehh, we just ended up getting stuff for each other.

Mom and sis got clothing. I gave sis some shoes, some that she had liked at the shoe store when I went with her. Mom got a dishwasher (not form me.) Aside from that, all good and fun. Good times, good people, good gifts.

Christmas Holiday Party @ work was fun.

I had a "date" on friday. Red Lobster food, Diaries of a Geisha movie. Not much pizzazz.

Work has been work, nothing overtly good or bad about it.

School over for the semester. Grades should be coming midweek.

Shopping with new pseude extended family is fun, yeay.

I have gained a bit of weight, and I am not very trilled about it, but it makes a wonderful topic for new year's resolutions.

I finally changed my windshield wipers, now I act actully SEE when driving in rain, instead of just having to recognize general shapes. Yeah, I know, scary...

I haven't done, nor do I think I will do any christmas shopping. I lack the money to do so, heh. Besides, I just don't overtly feel like it.

I have consumed more pizza in the past two weeks then I have ever consumed in any other period in my time. Yes, it's very tied to the weight gain. *laughs*

I have watched a lot of gay romantic comedy movies latelly. I am such a dork. *grins*

I'm sitting here, attempting to study for my last 2 finals of the semester. Yeah, I kno, ugh yeah?

Anywho, I've had like 62 hours that I could have theoretically studied with, but I've used something akin on 6.2 hours. Terrible isn't it?

That damn interweb, *grrr* *grins*

Ok, now back to studying, or breakfast, because Me So Hungry.

Idea Flow

Latelly, ideas have been popping out of my mind like crazy. Wonderful plans, and things to do.

I've been writing them in a notebook. I might one of these days post it, but after I have a backend to make it all pretty. Use webpage menus, integration, and what not.

Slowly I'm getting people in into some of my plans, which should work out well. It's a wonderful process of expansion, that I'm having fun with.

*JOY*

So, the DIP final is completed. It was a bit hard, but thanks to me sitting up front, and everyone asking questions that just perfectly fit what I was trying to do, the methods to calculating the answers just came to me (well, were given to me, but hey, that's besides the point.) It's great when a techer gives you just the perfect hints. Yeay for that.

Anywho, two more finals, in 7 days. Those should not be overwelmingly hard.

I'm off to take a nap, then study a bit more, for a quiz, and home I go.

*brrrrr* It's been so cold latelly, I heard there will be flurries on Saturday.

I know

"I know"

That's my ultimate answer when mentioned many things. Whenever i'm given advice I'm well aware of, because I have said so myself, I repy, often in a harsh tone "I know"

Yet, as it often happens, I happen to take the advice that I am already very aware of for granted.

I have said so many things that help people, and given advice that work wonders, yet, I don't seem to always use my conventional wisdom.

I'm plenty good in many things, and even excel in some.

So, instead of just righting this and that, and creating new guidelines, and forcing sometimes inane rules on myself, I'll simply apply what, I know, more effectivelly.

Also, I will remember, that I have to look out for me. Everyone has imporance, but without keeping myself healthy, and happy I can't do anything for anyone else as adequatelly. I also have to remember that separation from my job will eventually come, and prepare myself for it. As much as I have grown attached, they don't look out for me, or my interests. The only person that can do that is *points at self.*

So, this is not a magical solution, and list of things that will solve everthing, or a plan. It's just me, remembering, that I have to apply what I know in my own life, and lookout for myself.

Doing that, is always a good start. So the, I start good, and go strong.

What is next?
That's for me to find out.
